Senior Civil Engineer – Hydropower Project

Job Description

Sangrila Urja Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, supervision, and implementation of hydropower and renewable energy projects across Nepal.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in civil engineering, excellent project coordination skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure while maintaining environmental and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise civil construction works for hydropower projects.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Monitor construction quality, progress, and compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare project progress reports and technical documentation.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and risk management activities.
• Resolve engineering issues encountered during project execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in hydropower, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, surveying, and construction management.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Registration with the Nepal Engineering Council is preferred.
